This is a fun and simple harvest snack!
Popcorn Pumpkin Balls
~ Popcorn ~ Butter ~ Marshmallows ~ Kool Aid ~ Pretzel ~
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in the microwave. Add 1 cup miniature marshmallows and stir.
Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until melted.
Blend a bit of Kool aid powder into mixture until desired color is reached (but be aware that the flavor is really strong! Supplement with food coloring if you want a vivid color).
Pour over 4 cups popped popcorn and stir until coated. Mix well with buttered hands and form into balls. Push short lengths of pretzel into popcorn balls for pumpkin stems (we used thicker “rod” pretzels).
This is an easy process that takes only a few minutes for this super cute snack!
Spray bowls, utensils and hands with cooking spray to minimize stickiness.
Substitutions: Use food coloring and add a little vanilla extract instead of Kool Aid.
You can also use Jello powder in place of the Kool Aid.
Poof! You’re done. It’s magic!
