Kids Lunch: Fire Truck Sandwich

FIRE!!!!

Hopefully it’s not a real one…
But the fire truck is on it’s way!!!

FIRE TRUCK

~ Bread ~ Fruit Roll Up ~ Apple ~ Cookies ~
~ Cheese ~ Fruit Snacks ~ Sugar Wafer ~

DING. DING. DING.
TIME FOR LUNCH!!!
You can time the kidos to see how fast they can get to the table!!
{Wish I had thought of that before my little ate it!!!}

To make the Fire Truck:
Cut a piece of bread as shown.
Cut the same shape out of a fruit roll up.
{I used the Betty Crocker Simply Fruit all natural ones.}
Use apple pieces for the windows.
Hand cut a small piece of cheese into a star.
{This was my 4th attempt…still not perfect. Loved eating the scraps though!!}
Red and yellow fruit snacks for the lights.
A vanilla sugar wafer for the ladder.
Chocolate cookies for the wheels.

WEEEEEEE-OOOOOOOOO!!!!
{that’s my pitiful attempt at a siren.}

Only a couple more days until I start on Halloween Nummies!!!
Maybe I can knock out a few more boy themed ones before Oct!!
