    Hi Kellie,

your sandwich recipes are just too cute and fun not to try at home! I love that your recipes are all about playing with your food, and making it fun for kids to eat. Getting your kids to eat everything is not always easy, but it is so important to hook your kids on to loving food and cooking as well. Teaching your kids about the importance of healthy eating, growing their own food, and cooking are all important life skills for kids to learn, plus it saves you time.
That’s why I work for the Healthy Monday campaigns, which just launched a new program. The Kids Cook Monday aims to encourage families to cook and eat together every Monday. Research shows that children from families who cook and eat together often are less likely to be obese, eat a more nutritious diet and get better grades in school (to see more on the benefits of family dinners, check out The Kids Cook Monday site http://www.mondaycampaigns.org/the-kids-cook-monday.)
We’re looking for blogs and websites to take on the challenge of starting each week with family dinners and post about their experiences each Monday. If you’re interested in participating please email me at info@TheKidsCookMonday.org.

    Thanks so much,
    Sara
