It’s the Easter season and bunnies are hoppin around in my brain. The bunny tushy has been hoppin around pinterest for the last few weeks. There are adorable tushy cookies, cupcakes, sweet Easter cakes and I even saw bunny tushy pancakes!! I had to get in on the craze and create a fun bunny tushy lunch!!

Ah, spring has finally sprung — the bunnies are hopping, the daffodils are blooming, and the stores are wall-to-wall with Easter candy. Leprechauns, shamrocks, pots of gold, rainbows, something about the Irish and all that green lucky stuff makes up St. Patrick’s Day! The only thing I ever did as a kid to celebrat was wear green because I didn’t want to get pinched. Now I just make sure my girls are wearing green!! I hated getting pinched. Seems so cruel. Whether you send your little one to school wearing green or not, having a warm leprechaun hat croissant waiting for them when they get home will definitely make them feel like the luckiest kid!!

The new year is upon us. According to the Chinese calendar, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, which represents success and happiness. Now, of course the Chinese new year doesn’t begin until the middle of January, but there’s no reason not to celebrate now with this adorable New Year’s baby dragon sandwich. My girls aren’t exactly fans of dragons, but even they couldn’t resist this little guy!

Now that it’s getting colder, my girls are all about s’mores and hot cocoa. So I came up with this festive kids snack as a way for them to have both without the sticky mess of roasting marshmallows (not to mention the dangers of everyone crowding around an open fire!) Yippee! Winter’s almost here, and this snowman will bring some excitement to your kids lunch. I love snow—donning mittens, building a snowman, then coming inside for hot cocoa and a snack.
