Those famous words, uttered by one certain evil queen, automatically makes our minds wander to the fairy tale land where Snow White lives.  Well, in case you need a refresher or just a new fun family film, Mirror Mirror {rated PG} will be in theaters March 30 for your viewing pleasure!!  I can’t wait!!!

 Their whimsical costumes are so fantastic!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Snow White’s Dress with the ginormous bow!! So feminine and gorgeous!! I knew I had to make it!!

Here he is in his fabulous bunny ears for the costume party!! When I saw them, I couldn’t resist creating his fun whimsical hat!!  LOVE it!!

To make Snow White’s Dress:
Cut a large bow out of a slice of cheddar cheese. Hand cut the dress shape out of the sandwich and lay on top of the cheese bow.  Cut a strip of mozzarella, provolone, or any white cheese.  Cut tiny triangles into one side of the cheese to create a lace pattern. Lay on top of the dress.  Use extra pieces of sandwich for the sleeves. Cut the rest of the sleeves out of the cheddar cheese.  Put in to place and enjoy!!

To make Prince Alcott’s Costume Hat:
Cut out the crust off of the sandwich.  Cut a hat shape out of the remaining sandwich.  Cut bunny ears out of mozzarella, provolone, or any white cheese.  Put in place.  Cut smaller bunny ears out of slices of ham for the pink in the bunny ears.  Put into place and enjoy!!

Whipped up this yummalish lunch yesterday.

A HARE IN MY TUNA

~ Tuna Salad ~ Bread ~ Apple ~ 4 Crackers ~ Craisins ~ Cheese ~ Pecans ~

What’s the difference between a fish and a piano?
You can’t TUNA fish!!!

To make A Hare in my Tuna:

My Tuna Salad Recipe:

• 1 5oz can white albacore tuna (drained)
• 2Tb mayonaise
• 1/4 c apple
• 1/4c craisins
• 1/4c chopped pecans
• salt and pepper to taste

Mix together tuna, mayo, apple, craisins, and pecans. Set aside.
Cut the 2 slices of bread into the shape of a truck. Use a small round cookie cutter to shape the wheel wells. Spoon 3/4 of tuna mixture onto 1 slice of bread and place the other slice on top to make the sandwich.

To make the wheels: Take 4 crackers and make tuna cracker sandwiches with the remainder tuna. Put in place for the wheels.

To make the Bunny: Cut the other half of the apple off the core and round it out for the bunny’s head. Cut 2 more pieces of apple for the ears. A smaller piece for the paw/arm. Cut 4 slivers of the apple skin for the whiskers. Tiny pieces of pecan for the eyes, and a craisin for the nose. Cut a small piece of cheddar cheese for the paw pad.
Use a craisin for a headlight.
Cut a small square piece of cheddar cheese for the window.

Arrange on a plate and enjoy!!!

Sometimes you just don’t have time for cutting fancy shapes in bread and making sandwiches, but don’t let that stop you!

I made a quick fried egg for breakfast, and when I saw the shape when it was cooked, I thought of a bird, so I quickly added some wings, legs, and an eye.
