JERBOA NUMMIE

Use two boiled eggs.  Cut the bottom end off of one egg so that it stands evenly. For the ears, cut the other egg in half, and take out the yoke.  Use pieces of olives for the eyes and nose.  Use small pieces of ham for color inside the ears.

INTERESTING FACTS

1. Their tails are usually longer than their little bodies.

2. They can jump faster than a human can run!!

3. They can jump up to 10 ft in length in a single jump.

4. They don’t have to drink.  They get enough water from the plants they eat.

5. They are solitary (alone) nocturnal (night) animals.

6. They are known to hibernate during winter months.
